One day I BOUGHT A CAMERA…

On a whim.

After I started taking pictures I realized I’d been doing it my whole life I just didn’t have a camera yet.

My name is Kelly and I’m very happy you’ve stopped by Austen Hill. This is a space where you can find my work and also follow along on my adventures through the blog. All of my older content will still be available on www.austenhill.com.

As a photographer, I love working with clients to create content for their brands and projects. I also love capturing special moments in everyday life that will become memories for years to come.

I make my home in the Brookland Park neighborhood of RVA. After 12 years in Church Hill in a house built in 1812 my new one, built in 1920, feels practically brand new. My pup, Miss Austen, dictates the comings and going of daily life. As I make my new house my own she always lets me know when something needs to be moved two inches to the left.
